Daigo Seiryu – Promotional

During my time as a teacher in Japan, I often collaborated with different departments to do design projects for the school. This included posters to advertise the school in the community and covers of books printed by the school. I worked with the different teachers involved in each project to help make their design goals come to life.

Open Campus Promotion
Poster-Mockup---Seiryu
Over 2,000 printed and displayed across the local town and prefecture. The school wanted a redesign from previous years posters, since they were changing and revamping several of their courses and after-school programs. The idea behind the poster was “A wonderful place to make memories.” Japanese high school is only three years long. Since this poster was aimed at particularly junior high school students, I wanted to market the unique experiences students could participate in with a youthful high school “journal” theme.

School Information Book

Daigo-New-Start-Booklet

The title reads “New – Daigo Seiryu Start.” This booklet had information about the different new programs and courses students could participate in at Daigo Seiryu. This book had to use the official school green while still portraying change. About 600 copies of this book were printed and given to parents who attended the open campus event.

Yearly Exchange Program Cover

Thailand-Exchange-Booklet

Every summer a small group of students from Daigo Seiryu high school visit Thailand as part of an exchange program with a school there. This is often many of the students first trip outside of Japan. I wanted to convey the fun and color of the trip while maintaining a professional appearance. Over 500 copies of this book were printed and given to incoming students and parents to encourage more participation in the program.
